Ed Byrne is an actor, stand-up comedian and TV personality from Dublin, Ireland.

Starting his comedy career in 1995, he was nominated for the coveted Perrier Comedy Award at the 1998 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He has gone to become a household name on the comedy circuit, appearing on some of the UK's most popular panel shows such as Mock The Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks. He has also appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, as well as the documentary show Dara and Ed's Great Big Adventure, alongside fellow Irish comedy legend Dara Ó Briain.

He has performed many a run of sell-out shows at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as well as multiple runs in the West End and shows in Canada, France, Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
