Edén Muñoz, born Rodolfo Edén Muñoz Cantú, is a Mexican singer, songwriter and producer of regional Mexican music.
After several years of playing music in family gatherings, local bands, festivals, and restaurants, in 2006 Muñoz became a vocalist and guitarist for the band Colmillo Norteño, playing traditional Norteño music, before changing their style to what is now known as Norteño-Banda. In 2010, due to differences with the other members of the band, Muñoz formed his own group with the same Norteño-Banda concept, Puro Colmillo Norteño, though to avoid legal conflicts with his previous band, the band's name was changed to Calibre 50. Between 2010 and 2022, Muñoz was the leader and main songwriter for Calibre 50. He departed in 2022, to pursue a solo career, and released his debut solo album, 'Consejos Gratis', in 2022. He'll support the record with his first solo tour of the US beginning in summer 2023, kicking off on August 25 in Brooklyn, New York; making stops in San Antonio, San Diego, El Paso, and more before wrapping up in Irving, Texas on November 11.
