Eric Roberson is an American neo-soul singer and songwriter from Rahway, New Jersey.
Starting his music career in 1994, he signed to Warner Brothers, and released the single, The Moon, and recorded an album, which remains unreleased. He then signed a publishing deal with EMI Publishing, and wrote music for artists such as Osulande, Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Carl Thomas, Vivian Green and 112. As a member of Jazzy Jeff’s A Touch of Jazz production company, he made contributions to his, ‘The Magnificent’, in 2002. He released his debut album, ‘The Esoteric Movement’, in 2001, followed by ‘The Vault, Vol. 1’ in 2003, and ‘The Appetizer’ in 2005, and ‘...Left’ in 2007. In 2009 he released ‘Music Fan First’, and was nominated for two Grammy Awards for Best Urban/Alternative Performance for the songs ‘A Tale of Two’, in 2010 and ‘Still’, in 2011. His latest release, ‘The Box’, came out in 2014. Eric Roberson has announced a trio of UK summer shows for June.
