Forwards is a new inner city music festival based in Bristol.
Launched in 2022, the festival spans over two days and champions music as a means of positive change. Hosting two music stages, plus a space for debate on current affairs and cultural issues and more, featuring experts, activists, artists and thinkers, it has previously hosted performances from Raye, Jamie xx, Arlo Parks, The Chemical Brothers, Little Simz, Khruangbin, Fred Again.., Erykah Badu, Floating Points, Kojey Radical, Confidence Man, Roisin Murphy, Amyl & The Sniffers, Caribou, Jockstrap, Sleaford Mods, Kae Tempest, Self Esteem and many more. Forwards Festival will return to Bristol Downs in August 2024, featuring headliners Loyle Carner, LCD Soundsystem and Jessie Ware, plus Maribou State, Yard Act, CMAT, Floating Points and much more.
