Fugees are a Haitian-American hip hop group consisting of Wyclef Jean, Pras Michel and Lauryn Hill.

Formed in the early 1990s as high school friends, they are widely considered to be among the most influential bands of that decade, and are one of the biggest-selling hip hop groups of all time.

The group released two iconic albums—'Blunted On Reality' in 1994 and its Grammy-winning successor 'The Score' in 1996—before disbanding in 2005. All three members went on to have successful solo careers – Lauryn Hill in particular, who has gone on to record a diamond-certified album in the shape of 1997's 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill', won eight Grammys and produced/composed music for the likes of Cardi B, Kanye West, Drake and Jay-Z.
