Gabrielle Aplin is a singer-songwriter from Sutton Benger, Wiltshire.
Starting her music career in 2008, she enjoyed great viral success via her YouTube channel, where she regularly posted acoustic covers. She then went on to independently release several singles and EPs, before earning her first record deal with Parlophone in 2012 and breaking into the mainstream later that year, when she covered Frankie Goes to Hollywood's The Power of Love for the John Lewis Christmas advert. She released her debut album, ’English Rain’, in 2013, followed by 'Light Up in the Dark' in 2015. Her third and most recent studio album, 'Dear Happy', dropped in 2020. Gabrielle Aplin has been revealed as the headline act for the Never Fade Christmas Party in December 2021.
