Gaika Tavares, better known as his stage name Gaika, is a singer, songwriter and rapper from Brixton, London.
His debut album, 'Basic Volume', was released in July 2018 by Warp Records, after the mixtapes 'Machine and Security' and 'Spaghetto'. GAIKA himself describes his sound as "Ghettofuturism". Since, he has exhibited SYSTEM, a sculpture collaboration with Boiler Room and Somerset House Studios, and he has also written for Dazed magazine.
