Girls Aloud are a English-Irish girlband, consisting of Cheryl Tweedy, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.
The group were launched to stardom in 2002 after being formed on the TV talent show Popstars: The Rivals, originally with the addition of Sarah Harding, who sadly passed away from breast cancer in 2021. They went on to become the best-selling girl group in the UK until their split in 2009, having put out a string of iconic singles such as Sound Of The Underground, Sexy! No No No..., Love Machine, I'll Stand By You, Biology and their chart-topping, BRIT-winning track, The Promise. They have released a total of five albums to date, with the most recent being 'Out Of Control' in 2008 and, with the individual members all stars in their own rights, they eventually announcing their reunion in 2023. Girls Aloud have announced a huge arena tour of the UK and Ireland for spring 2024, billed as The Girls Aloud Show. Numerous extra dates have been added due to demand.
