Happyness are an indie rock band from South London, consisting of frontman and guitarist Benji Compston, bassist Jonny Allan and drummer Ash Cooper.
They released their debut self-titled EP in 2013, which was followed by their debut album, 2014's ‘Weird Little Birthday’. The band’s second album, 'Write In', arrived in 2017 via Moshi Moshi, before their latest full-length release, 'Floatr', dropped in April 2020. The band have headlined many of their own shows and tours across the UK and Europe. They have also supported the likes of the Dandy Warhols, Speedy Ortiz, Suede and Mac Demarco and have appeared at festivals such Reading and Leeds, Bestival, Green Man, End Of The Road, CMJ and SXSW. Happyness have rescheduled their headline UK tour to spring 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
