Hardeep Singh Kohli is a writer, radio and television presenter, broadcaster and reporter from Scotland.
After studying on the BBC's graduate production scheme, Kohli moved to London to direct children's television, and then series direct from Manchester on Janet Street Porter's series Reportage. He returned to London to direct RTS and BAFTA winning show It'll Never Work. He began working independently in 2000, writing, directing, producing, presenting and starring in various TV shows on Channel 4. Now, he regularly presents Newsnight Review, Saturday Live, Loose End and has appeared on Question time. A comedian too, he performed his debut one-man show, The Nearly Naked Chef, the first live curry cooking comedy show ever at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe In August 2009. This was followed by two years of "Chat Masala" where Kohli interviewed famous folk while cooking them a curry, and the show "Indian Takeaway" in 2012, where Kohli phoned in a takeaway while cooking his own version.
