Heaven 17 are a new wave band from Sheffield.
The band formed in 1980, after Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware left the Human League and teamed up with Glenn Gregory. They released their debut album, ‘Penthouse and Pavement’, in 1981 and went on to record a further seven studio LPs including, most recently, 'Naked As Advertised' in 2008.
