Hercules And Love Affair is an American dance music project from New York City, currently featuring founding member Andy Butler, alongside Alec, Rouge and Gustaph.
Formed in 2008, after Andy Butler released the track Blind, which he had created with Anohni several years before, this led to him signing to DFA Records, and releasing a self-titled debut album in 2008. This was followed by ‘Blue Songs’, in 2011, and ‘The Feast of the Broken Heart’, in 2014. The band released their latest album, ‘Omnion’, on September 1, 2017 via Atlantic Records. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the USA and Europe, including the UK and have performed at festivals such as Lovebox and Meltdown. They recently reached London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in December 2017. In September 2018, they head out on a short tour of the US.
