Idles are a post-punk band from Bristol.
Formed in 2009, the band became a cult favourite in the underground scene before their big break came in 2018, after the release of their sophomore album 'Joy As An Act Of Resistance' that same year. Today, the band are massively successful, having released four studio records and earned some of the music industry's highest honours, including a BRIT nomination, an Ivor Novello Award, a Mercury Prize nod and two Grammy nominations. Their fifth and most recent LP, 'TANGK', dropped in 2024. Idles have announced a huge World Tour, which includes stops in the UK, Ireland and North America in autumn 2024. They'll also head to Australia and New Zealand in January 2025, before a huge hometown Block Party at Bristol's Queen Square in August.
