Jean Michel Jarre is a French electronic and ambient musician and composer from Lyon. Starting his career in 1972, he released his debut album, ‘Deserted Palace’, which he followed with ‘Les Granges Brûlées’ in 1973. It was his 1976 album, ‘Oxygène’, and ‘Équinoxe’, released in 1978, however, that gained him great acclaim

Since then he has gone to release 16 more albums, including his last album, ‘Electronica 1: The Time Machine’, and his latest album, ‘Electronica 2: The Heart of Noise’, which was released on May 6, 2016.

Known for impressive live performances including outdoor spectacles of his music featuring lights, laser displays, and fireworks, he has played to a record-breaking audience of more than a million people at the Place de la Concorde.
