Joan Collins is an English actress and author from London, best known for the 1980s TV show ‘Dynasty’.
She made her stage debut in ‘A Doll's House’ at the age of nine, and went on to study at RADA. A 22, she went to Hollywood and appeared in films such as ‘The Girl in the Red Velvet Swing’ in 1955, and ‘Rally Round the Flag, Boys!’ in 1958. She won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 1982, for her role in Dynasty, and was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1983.
