Joanna Gruesome are a Welsh indie-punk outfit hailing from Cardiff, the band consists of Kate, Roxy, Owen, Max, George and Dave.
The band released their debut album, ‘Weird Sister’ in 2014, which won the Welsh Music Prize. This was followed by, ‘Peanut Butter’, the following year. Lead singer Alana McArdle left the band in 2015, and was replaced by two singers Kate and Roxy. The band toured the UK and USA in North America in 2015. Joanna Gruesome have announced a trio UK shows around their appearances at Rockaway Beach and Carefully Planned in September.
