Katy B is a dance music singer-songwriter from London.
Covering a variety of styles from dubstep and RnB to funk, house and garage, she previously attended the BRIT School and set her sights on a career in music. She began by featuring on tracks with the likes of Magnetic Man and DJ NG, but her mainstream success stemmed from her solo career, and she’d soon racked up a handful of Top 5 singles, such as Katy on a Mission, Lights On and Crying for No Reason. She released her debut album, ‘On a Mission’, in 2011, followed by a tour in support and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. In 2014, she released her second studio record, ‘Little Red’, going on to work with Tinie Tempah on a cover of KDA's Turn the Music Louder (Rumble), which became her first UK number one single. Her third and most recent album, ‘Honey’, arrived in 2016. Katy B will play London's Village Underground on November 15, 2021.
