Kenny G is the stage name of Kenneth Bruce Gorelick, an American smooth jazz musician and songwriter hailing from Seattle, Washington.

First introduced to instruments at a young age, he earned a solo deal with Arista Records in 1982, and found success with his first three records; ‘Kenny G’ in 1982, ‘G Force’ in 1983, and ‘Gravity’ in 1985.

However, it was his fourth record ‘Duotones’, in 1986, that saw him hitting the majorly big time, selling five million copies, only surpassed by his sixth release ‘Silhouette’ in 1988 that raked in over 15 million.

But, he’s definitely not just a recording artist, and in fact, is equally adept live on stage - tickets for his performances always sell well and even his first ever live album is ranked as triple platinum.

His latest release ‘New Standards’ came out in 2021, and he's still regularly touring too.
