Laura Marling is a singer-songwriter from Hampshire.

Starting her music career in 2006, she released her debut album ’Alas, I Cannot Swim’ in 2008, followed by 'I Speak Because I Can' in 2010, which were both nominated for the Mercury Prize. She has since put out a further six LPs, with her eighth studio serving 'Patterns in Repeat' due to arrive in October 2024.

Now one of the UK's most celebrated folk musicians for both her solo endeavours and her work as a member of the band Lump, her list of accomplishments has grown to include three Mercury Prize nominations and a Grammy nomination and a BRIT Award.
