Laura Marling is a singer-songwriter from Hampshire.

Starting her music career in 2006, she released her debut album ’Alas, I Cannot Swim’ in 2008, followed by 'I Speak Because I Can' in 2010, which were both nominated for the Mercury Prize. She has since put out a further seven LPs, with her her latest studio serving 'Patterns In Repeat' having arrived in 2024.

Now one of the UK's most celebrated folk musicians for both her solo endeavours and her work as a member of the band Lump, her list of accomplishments has grown to include three Mercury Prize nominations and a Grammy nomination and a BRIT Award.
