Marti Pellow is a pop singer from Clydebank, Scotland.
Starting his music career in 1982 as a member of Wet Wet Wet, the band went on to release eight albums, and had a #1 hit with their version of Love Is All Around in 1994, which stayed on the UK Singles Chart for 15 weeks. When the group disbanded in 1997, he began his solo career in 1999, releasing his debut album ‘Smile’ in 2001. Since going it alone, he has put out over 10 albums, the latest being 2021's 'Stargazer'. Also a successful West End star, he has starred in musicals and shows such as The Witches of Eastwick, Jekyll and Hyde, War of the Worlds: The Musical, Evita and Blood Brothers. Marti Pellow has a pair of Scottish shows planned for December 2024, and will celebrate 30 years of Love Is All Around with a UK tour in autumn 2025.
