Matt Costa is an American indie-rock singer-songwriter hailing from Huntington Beach, California. Born in 1982, he got his break after No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont received one of his demo tapes and offered him use of his home studio to record - not something you would turn down!
Independently releasing his music with help from Dumont, he would go on to sign for Jack Johnson’s Brushfire Records and release four studio albums, as well as tour and share the stage with the likes of Oasis, Death Cab for Cutie, Modest Mouse, and Johnson himself.
