McBusted is the pop supergroup you were waiting for back in the mid-Noughties, when Busted ruled the guitar-pop world and McFly followed closely behind. Consisting of Busted's Matt Willis and James Bourne alongside the McFly quartet Tom Fletcher, Harry Judd, Danny Jones and Dougie Poynter, McBusted took the world by storm in 2014.

If you can't remember them, Busted were one of the UK's favourite new pop acts at the start of the millennium, scoring major hits with their singles What I Go to School For, Year 3000, and You Said No. Though they only lasted two albums before they split, they managed to sell four million records, win two BRIT Awards, and cement themselves into UK pop history. McFly, on the other hand, were somewhat of a counterpart to Busted; though there is four of them rather than three, they created similar guitar-infused pop and even toured as Busted's support act in their earlier years. Now, they're still going strong as one of the country's most popular bands, having sold ten million records worldwide.

In 2013, Busted and McFly joined forces live on stage to perform as a pop supergroup, celebrating McFly's 10th anniversary with a series of gigs at London's Royal Albert Hall. The gigs were a huge success and McBusted was formed - signing a record deal with Island Records following a bidding war.

In 2014, they be made their first proper attack on the pop scene. What started out as an 11-date arena tour, due to phenomenal demand from fans and the general public, it swiftly became the UK’s largest arena tour of the year, with McBusted performing to a staggering 350,000 people across an amazing 35 sold out arenas, culminating in a show stopping headline performance at British Summer Time Hyde Park to 60,000 people.

In addition to the sold out arena tour, they performed at a series of outdoor shows throughout the summer, where they played some of their classic hits and tunes from their up and coming self-titled debut album, released on December 1. If you missed the shows, you’re in luck - McBusted support their LP with another massive arena tour scheduled for spring 2015.

McBusted also head to Northampton for Alive At Delapre Park in summer 2015, as well as playing Lytham Green, a Forest Live date, Newmarket Racecourse, and a show at Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre - get your tickets now!
