Metz are a noise rock band from Toronto, Canada.
Formed in 2008, the band released their self-titled debut LP in 2012, which was nominated for the 2013 Polaris Music Prize. They have since followed with a further three studio albums, the latest being 2020's 'Atlas Vending', and are due to drop their fifth LP 'Up On Gravity Hill' in April 2024. In the past, they have played shows across the world, and have supported the likes of Idles on tour. Metz will tour the UK and Europe in November 2024, following a spring North American trek.
