Mew are a Danish alternative rock band from Hellerup, consisting of Jonas Bjerre, Johan Wohlert, and Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen.

Formed in 1994, the band released their debut album, ‘A Triumph for Man’, in 1997, followed by ‘Half the World Is Watching Me’, in 2000 and ‘Frengers’ in 2003. Their fourth album, ‘And the Glass Handed Kites’, released in 2005, hit #4 in the Danish chart, while 2009’s ‘No More Stories…’ hit the top spot, as did 2015’s ‘+ -’. The band are set to release their latest album, ‘Visuals’, in 2017 on April 28, 2017.

Mew have toured across the world and performed with the likes of Nine Inch Nails, R.E.M, and many others.
