Moonsorrow, are a Finnish black metal band from Helsinki, consisting of Ville Sorvali, Henri Sorvali, Mitja Harvilahti, Markus Eurén and Marko Tarvonen.
Formed in 1995, they released their debut album, ‘Suden uni’ in 2001, followed by ‘Voimasta ja kunniasta’ in 2001. They have since gone on to release four more studio albums, including 2011’s ‘Varjoina kuljemme kuolleiden maassa’. The band are set to release their latest album, ‘Jumalten aika’ in 2016, and have announced a co-headline tour with Korpiklaani in April 2016.
