Neverworld is an annual music festival that takes place in Kent in July. Formed in 2006 by Lee Denny, it was initially titled Leefest and took place in place in his back garden! Since, the festival has grown bigger and better, finding a larger venue and bigger acts, and soon becoming named Neverland. 2018 saw a new name change: Neverworld.
Denny was awarded the Spirit of London Award ‘Achievement in The Arts’ in 2012, the festival has won 'Best Independent Festival' at AIM Independent Music Award and 'Best Grass Roots Festival' at the UK Festival Awards. The festival has three areas, The Neverwoods, Mermaid’s Lagoon and Skull Ridge, and has seen performances from The Futureheads, The King Blues, Johnny Foreigner, British Sea Power, Mystery Jets, Public Service Broadcasting, London Grammar, Clean Bandit, The Cribs, Frightened Rabbit, Lianne La Havas, Everything Everything, Ghostpoet, Circa Waves and more. Bastille and Clean Bandit headlined in 2018 along with sets from Declan McKenna, Tom Grennan, Sub Focus, Denis Sulta, My Nu Leng, We Are Scientists, and more. The Vaccines, Sleeper, Lucy Spraggan and more are among the names on the bill for Neverworld 2019, joined by the Futureheads, Georgia, Black Honey, and more.
