Onslaught are an English thrash metal band from Bristol, currently consisting of founding member guitarist Nige Rockett, alongside longtime frontman Sy Keeler, guitarist Iain GT Davies, bass player Jeff Williams and Mic Hourihan on drums.
Formed in 1983, the band released their debut album, ‘Power from Hell’ in 1985, followed by ‘The Force’ in 1986 and ‘In Search of Sanity’ 1989, which hit #46 in the UK Albums Chart, before they disbanded in 1991. They reformed in 2005 and released ‘Killing Peace’ in 2007, with ‘Sounds of Violence’ being released in 2011 and ‘VI’ in 2013. Onslaught have announced UK and Ireland tour dates for November in support of the 30th anniversary of their second album, ‘The Force’.
