Oxegen is Ireland’s biggest annual music festival, and hosts around 50,000-60,000 mental rock fans every year. With the first edition taking place in 2004, the festival is held in Punchestown Racecourse and is considered one of the ‘greenest’ festivals around, having a net carbon footprint of zero.
Oxegen sees some of the biggest names in rock travelling to Ireland to perform, with past headline acts including The Cure, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, and Coldplay.
