Paul Gilbert is a hard rock and heavy metal guitarist from Illinois. He is best known for being the co-founder of the band Mr. Big, but was also a member of Racer X, with whom he released several albums. In 1996 Gilbert launched a solo career, and has gone on to put out numerous solo albums, as well as collaborating with other musicians on their records.
As a solo artist, he's released fifteen studio albums since 1998, his latest being 'Behold Electric Guitar' in 2019. He's also put out a number of EPS and live LPs.
