Pete Townshend’s Classic Quadrophenia is a brand new Orchestral version of The Who’s 1973 album, 'Quadrophenia', which is undeniably one of the most influential rock albums of all time.
More of a work of art rather than an album, it featured four sides that told a story so well received that it has earned them superstar recognition the world over and even evolved into both a musical and a feature length film! In summer 2015, a new take on the rock opera, orchestrated by Rachel Fuller, is set to be released by Deutsche Grammophon, with a world premiere concert at London's Royal Albert Hall in July. Conducted by Robert Ziegler, the show will feature the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Oriana Choir, and stars Pete Townshend and Alfie Boe, who will sing parts originally performed by Roger Daltrey.
