Pharoahe Monch, real name Troy Donald Jamerson, is an American rapper from Queens in New York City, New York.
Starting his music career in 1987, as part of the rap duo, Organized Konfusion, with partner Prince Poetry. They released three albums: ‘Organized Konfusion’ in 1991, ‘Stress: The Extinction Agenda’, in 1994, and ‘The Equinox’ in 1997. He went solo in 1997, with the release in his debut album in ‘Internal Affairs’ in 1999. He went on to release a further three albums, the latest being ‘PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder’ in 2014.
