Power Trip are a crossover thrash metal band from Dallas, Texas.
Formed in 2008, the band put out their debut album 'Manifest Decimation' in 2013, which was followed by 'Nightmare Logic' in 2017. Rapidly becoming a staple in their scene and becoming one of the genre's biggest success stories of the decade, the band's journey came to an abrupt and tragic halt in 2020, following the death of vocalist Riley Gale. Following his passing, the live version of their track Executioner's Tax (Swing of the Axe) received a Grammy nomination, with Seth Gilmore stepping in to resume vocal duties in 2023. Power Trip have headline shows in Norwich and Bristol planned for February 2025, coinciding with their support slot on tour with Pantera.
