Puddle of Mud, is an American rock band, from Missouri, consisting of Wes Scantlin, Matt Fuller, Michael John Adams and Dave Moreno, known for their crashing chords and sleazy, infectious songs that can be both poignant (Blurry) as well as tongue-in-cheek (She F*ckin' Hates Me).
Formed in 1991, the band released their debut album, ‘Abrasive’, in 1997, but it was their second album, ‘Come Clean’ in 2001, that broke them through to the mainstream, selling over five million copies. The band released another four albums; ‘Life on Display’ in 2003, ‘Famous’ in 2007, ‘Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love & Hate’ in 2009, and re:(disc)covered in 2011, an album of cover songs. To date the Kansas City band have sold in excess of 7 million albums worldwide and have had a string of Number One mainstream rock singles.
