Veronica "Randy" Crawford is an American jazz and R&B singer.
Crawford signed with Columbia Records and released her first single, Knock On Wood / If You Say the Word in 1972. She's had multiple top five hits in the UK, including her 1980 number 2 hit, One Day I'll Fly Away. Interestingly, despite her American nationality, Crawford has never entered the billboard top 100 as a solo artist, and even won Best British Female Solo Artist in recognition of her popularity in the UK at the 1982 Brit Awards! Her debut album came in the form of 'Everything Must Change' in 1976, and has released 18 more up until 2006's 'No Regrets'. Randy Crawford is set to headline Cheltenham Jazz Festival in May.
