Sacred Mother Tongue are a British heavy metal outfit hailing from Northampton. Formed in 2004, the band is a four-piece consisting of frontman Darrin South, guitarist Andy James, bassist Craig Daws, and drummer Lee Newell, and they’ve released two proper studio albums having signed with Transcend Music.
A common fixture at Download Festival, they first made a name for themselves with their single ‘Two Thousand Eight Hundred’, which hit #4 in the UK Rock chart. Paving away from their full debut LP ‘The Ruin of Man’, they earned scores of fans, and went on to release their sophomore effort ‘Out of the Darkness’ in 2013 - catch them touring the UK in October!
