Sam Duckworth is a British singer-songwriter from Southend, Essex.

Starting his music career in 2004, he signed to Atlantic Records in 2006, and released his debut album, ‘The Chronicles of a Bohemian Teenager’, under the moniker Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, which reached #26 in the UK Albums Chart. His second album, ‘Searching for the Hows and Whys’, was released in 2008, and hit #30 in the chart. His third self-titled album was released by Cooking Vinyl in 2010, going on to release an album under his own name entitled, ‘The Mannequin’ the following year, returning his moniker for 2012’s ‘Maps’. His final album under the name Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, ‘London Royal’, was released in 2014, via Alcopop!. His latest release was 2015’s ‘Amazing Grace’, under his own name. He has now started a new project named Recreations and released an EP, ‘Digital Ghettos’ in 2016 via Xtra Mile Recordings.

He has headlined his own shows and tours across the UK and has performed at festivals such as Oxegen, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and SXSW, as well as having taken part in the BBC Electric Proms.
