Slick Rick, real name Ricky Walters is a British-American rapper from The Bronx, New York.
Starting his music career in 1984, he joined the Get Fresh Crew and featured on the track La Di Da Di. He released his debut album, ‘The Great Adventures of Slick Rick’, in 1988, followed by ‘The Ruler's Back’ in 1991, ‘Behind Bars’ in 1994 and ‘The Art of Storytelling’ in 1999, which hit #8 in the Billboard Hot 200.
