Spyres are an indie punk band from Glasgow, consisting of Keira McGuire, Emily Downie, Jude Curran and Alex White.
Originally formed as an acoustic duo when McGuire and Downie met at an open mic night, they eventually joined forces with Curran and White to become the band they are today. Having only released a few singles at the time, the band quickly bagged support slots with the likes of The Snuts, The Jesus And Mary Chain and Nothing But Thieves, dropping their debut EP 'Dear Diary' in 2022.
