Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks is an American rock band that formed in Portland, Oregon, in 2000. Fronted by Pavement star Stephen Malkmus, it also features Mike Clark, Joanna Bolme, and Jake Morris.
Originally releasing an eponymous album in 2001 via Matador, which included a handful of previously potential Pavement songs, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks would go on to put out 'Pig Lib' in 2003, and have since delivered four more records, with their latest being 2014's 'Wig Out at Jagbags'.
