SYML is a project by Brian Fennell, a singer-songwriter from Issaquah, Washington.
Also recognised as the frontman for the band Barcelona, he adopted the name SYML—which is the Welsh word for 'simple'—when he began his solo career. Many of his songs are influenced by the complex feelings that come from unknown lineage. He has released three albums to date, and is due to drop his fourth, 'Nobody Lives Here', in April 2025. SYML will support his new LP with a show at Omeara London on April 7, 2025, before returning to the UK for a trio of shows in October.
