Tacocat is a American surf pop band from Seattle, Washington consisting of vocalist Emily Nokes, bassist Bree McKenna, drummer Lelah Maupin and guitarist Eric Randall.
Founded in 2007, the band released their debut album, ‘Shame Spiral’, on Don’t Stop Believin’ Records in 2010, followed by the EP, ‘Woman’s Day’, on Minor Bird Records in 2011. The same year they signed to Hardly Art, a Sub Pop imprint, and released their second EP, ‘Take Me to Your Dealer’, with their second album, ‘NVM’, in 2014. The band released 'This Mess Is A Place' in May 2019, to be accompanied by a tour of North America and the UK over the summer.
