The Album Leaf is an American post rock band from San Diego, California, consisting of Jimmy LaValle, alongside Matt Resovich, Brad Lee, and Dave LeBleu.
Started in 1998 as a solo project of Jimmy LaValle, he released the album, ‘An Orchestrated Rise to Fall’ in 1999, followed by ‘One Day I'll Be on Time’ in 2001. He signed to Sub Pop and released ‘In a Safe Place’ in 2004, with ‘Into the Blue Again’, coming out in 2006 and ‘A Chorus of Storytellers’ in 2010. The band’s latest album, ‘Between Waves’, was released in August 2016. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK and USA and have supported the likes of Sigur Rós and The American Analog Set. The Album Leaf will present their 2004 album 'In A Safe Place' in full at the Union Chapel in October 2019.
