The Amy Winehouse Experience is a tribute act for the singer herself, and is often called Lioness. Formed in 2015, the group are fronted by 2015 Stars In Their Eyes finalist and X-Factor contestant Emma Wright as Amy Winehouse, along with a group of five backing musicians and two backing singers to complete this highly acclaimed tribute show.
All of the songs are performed completely live with care and attention taken to do justice to the legacy of the talent of Amy Winehouse. They perform the most authentic and respectful tribute to the musical talent of this modern day icon, featuring songs from 'Frank', 'Back To Black', 'Lioness' and a host of covers associated with Amy. The stage show runs for 90 minutes and is modelled on Amy's 2007 performance at the Shepherd's Bush Empire... 'I Told You I Was Trouble'.
