The Coral are a psychedelic indie band from Merseyside.
Formed in 1996, the band released their self-titled debut album in 2002, earning them a Mercury Prize nomination and their mark firmly made on the thriving UK indie scene. Their second album, 2003's ‘Magic and Medicine’, hit #1 in the UK Official Album Chart, with the band going on to add a further eight albums to their discography, with the most recent being 2021's 'Coral Island'. The Coral have a handful of UK shows lined up for December 2023. They're also set to tour in spring 2024, bringing an intimate evening of music and conversation with James Skelly and Nick Power to venues across the UK.
