The Great Escape is an annual music festival based in Brighton.
Formed in 2006 and created by MAMA & Company, the festival sees over 400 acts play each year, across 35 venues. There is also a music convention, where past speakers have included Michael Eavis, DJ Shadow and Paul Epworth. The festival has seen performances from the likes of Alabama Shakes, Kneecap, Slaves, Faye Webster, Oh Wonder, The Mystery Jets, Arlo Parks, Mura Masa, Spring King, Blossoms, Wunderhorse, Rag'n'Bone Man, Sløtface, Pale Waves, Fat White Family, Black Midi, Snapped Ankles, Georgia and more.
