The Lemonheads are an alternative rock band from Boston, Massachusetts.
Formed in 1986, the band gained a huge following in the early 1990s, before going on hiatus in 1997. They reformed with a new line-up eight years later, with frontman Evan Dando the only consistent member today, taking a rotation of different musicians on tour: some session musicians, and other borrowed from bands such as Dinosaur Jr and Blake Babies. They have released a total of 10 albums to date, the most recent being 'Varshons 2' in 2019. The Lemonheads will close out 2023 with a three-show run in Evanston, Illinois.
