The Naked and Famous are a New Zealand-based indie electronic band from Auckland, currently consisting of Alisa Xayalith and Thom Powers, with previously members including Aaron Short, David Beadle and Jesse Wood.
Formed in 2008, the band released their debut studio album, 'Passive Me, Aggressive You', in 2010, which was followed by ‘In Rolling Waves’ in 2013 and ‘Simple Forms’ in 2016. They'll release their new album, 'Recover', in May 2020. The Naked And Famous returned for a special stripped back US tour, dubbed A Still Heart Stripped Tour, in March 2018 and played UK shows that summer.
