The Ordinary Boys are an English indie rock band from Worthing in West Sussex, consisting of Samuel Preston, Charlie 'Chuck' Stanley, James Gregory, Louis Jones,
Formed in 2002, the band released their debut album, ‘Over The Counter Culture’, in 2004, which hit #19 in the UK Albums Chart and was followed by ‘Brassbound’ in 2005, which hit #11 in the chart. The band gained more notoriety after frontman Samuel Preston appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, where he met Chantelle Houghton, whom he later married and divorced. Their single, Boys Will be Boys, was then re-released and hit #3 in the UK Singles Chart. The band released their third album, ‘How to Get Everything You Ever Wanted in Ten Easy Steps’, in 2006, which reached #15, before the band split in 2008. They returned in 2013 and released a new self-titled album in 2015. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK and have supported the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, The Cribs, Hard-Fi, Morrissey, Paul Weller and The Who.
