The Starting Line are an American pop punk band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, consisting of Kenny Vasoli, Matt Watts, Mike Golla, Tom Gryskewicz and Brian Schmutz.
Formed in 1999, under the name Sunday Drive, the band signed to Drive-Thru Records in 2001, and released their debut album, ‘Say It Like You Mean It’ in 2002, before signing to Geffen Records and putting out ‘Based on a True Story’ in 2005. The band then signed to Virgin Records and released ‘Direction’ in 2007, before they went on hiatus in 2008. The band returned with the EP ‘Anyways’ in 2015 via Downtown Records.
